The main material of foam tableware is harmless itself

Disposable foam lunch box, was introduced from Japan and Taiwan, and started to be used on China Railway in 1986. Because of its lightness, heat preservation, oil resistance, water resistance and low price, its sales have been compared booming. In early 1999, the former State Economic and Trade Commission promulgated the "List of Out-of-date Production Capabilities, Processes and Products" and listed the disposable foaming tableware as an outdated product, requiring banning and phasing out of products within a specified period of time.

Former Director of Light Industry Ministry of Science and Technology Division, the current office of the plastic tableware joint head told reporters that 14 years ago, as a result of obsolete products foaming tableware out of the white visual pollution is not the cause, what is not lagging foam tableware itself. In fact, foam tableware has been banned for 14 years, but in fact it is forbidden, and is still popular in the market. In Beijing, some small restaurants and roadside stalls are still using large-scale disposable foam tableware.

National Development and Reform Commission responded that foaming plastic tableware in line with the relevant national standards for food packaging appliances, they have commissioned China Center for Disease Control and food safety by the relevant national standards were tested. Now the function of food safety testing has been assigned to the National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment, so far this sector has not yet interviewed by reporters, but the reporter learned from the office of plastic tableware joint meeting, the main material of this foam tableware is polystyrene, which itself is harmless.

However, foam lunch boxes which can easily become the white pollution, so plastic recycling such as polystyrene recycling is very necessary to protect our environment, recycling them through Styrofoam hot melting machine, and then we can reuse it to do some other products.

Plastic pollution is the earth's mound which we need to pay more attention

Plastic pollution is the earth's mound. According to the Financial Times, up to 8 million tons of plastic are dumped into the oceans each year. Most of the rubbish on the ocean floor is plastic. There is a long period of cyclone in the North Pacific Ocean that has the same area of plastic garbage as Xinjiang in China.

Plastic garbage led to a large number of birds, marine mammals died. It has even been proven that it is beginning to endanger humanity itself.

In 2015, the American science magazine Scientific American released a survey on Chinese salt. The report shows that polyphenols used in the production of plastic bottles have been found in the common salt of 15 brands purchased from all over China. Ethylene dicarboxylate, glycol esters, polyethylene, and cellophane and many other plastics.

Sea salt is most contaminated by plastic. Each pound (453g) contained in the plastic particles up to more than 1,200 tablets. Salt salt plastic particles although relatively low, but also up to 800.

Plastic particles are smaller diameter, can enter the tissue cells, accumulate in the liver, causing inflammation, resulting in chronic deposition poisoning. It is also possible to enter the bloodstream and when it reaches a certain concentration, affect our endocrine system.

In 2016, Yale University announced the 2016 Global Environmental Performance Index (EPI) rankings, ranking 118 in China. Top 30 countries (or regions), Switzerland first, followed by Australia, Singapore, Germany, Britain, Japan and so on.

Some of the plastic products are disposable, which can easily become the white pollution, so plastic recycling such as polystyrene recycling is very necessary to protect our environment. And then we can reuse it to do some other products. On top of that, foam containers recycling is also can be took to solve the plastic pollution.
